This is soft and moist chiffon cake. I am baking 2 separate cakes with this chiffon cake recipe to make a 4 layered cake.
Ingredients:
This is a recipe for 2 chiffon cake.
cake flour 200g(2 cups)
baking powder 2 tsp
sugar 180g (1cup)
egg 8(white- yolk separated)
salt 1/4 tsp
veg oil 140ml(3/4 cup)
milk 6 tbsp(100ml)
vanilla 2 tsp
cream of tartar 1/4tsp
two 8" cake pan
bake at 175°C( 350°F) for 35 -40mins or if you poke a stick in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
